Sherry is among the elite in the beauty industry. Owner and Operator of Ocean's 13 and a certified instructor. Her passion has always been on the ability to teach new stylist all aspects of the industry. With over 20 years of styling and teaching accredited to her, opening her own salon was the best decision for her clients and herself. There is nothing she is not capable of. Ocean's 13 is a haven of pampering, skill and trust because of Sherry's vision. Her long list of loyal and ever growing new clients are devout to Sherry for her honesty and genuine love for the industry as much as they are for her knowledge and natural skill!
Heidi
Heidi a highly motivated and skilled stylist, Heidi is one of select few chosen to be a Moroccanoil Educator. Heidi believes we should never stop learning and growing, because of this, she has completed countless courses and holds certificates for many colour & product classes. Her flare for fashion and all things current keep her on point with special event styles and ahead of the color trends! Heidi's passion for transforming hair, whether through a meticulous blowout or a complete color change, is evident through the respect she has for her clients needs, wants and wishes. She truly is a Master among Master Stylist!
Sam
Sam knew early on that she desired a fun, creative and challenging work environment. A career in the beauty industry fit her trend setting style and love of transforming herself and others through creative and unique hairstyles perfectly. With over nine years accredited to her and the title of Master Stylist, she is completely in her element while creating a show stopping men's cut as much a she is obtaining that perfect new color shade for any client. Sam is a born and bred Island girl, but chose to anchor herself with the talented ladies of Ocean's 13....and it's lucky for us she did! Her infectious smile will definitely be one of the first things you notice upon entering our pretty salon the second will be her unmatched skills!
Holly
Don't let her quiet, demur, angelic persona fool you....Holly is fierce in all aspects when it comes to designing hair! She has been at the top of the beauty industry for over ten years and with good reason. Holly's creativity is at it's peak when she is creating gorgeous color for her loyal clients. Perfecting every shade, from an ingenious indigo to a soft, silky blonde, Holly's color eye is without a doubt intense and detailed above all! From her sparkling eyes to her smooth, precise moves, Holly is a class act closely followed by none!
April
April is a master instructor. Originally from Labrador NFLD, she has grown up in the industry. Her mom being a master stylist herself has been April's mentor and role model. April's passion to expand her career has brought her to Halifax where she shares her love as a stylist part time and as an instrucor the other half at the Hair Design Centre. April's love for education, teaching and her love for updos, making a bride feel like a queen on her special day has put her in high demand as a stylist. "Making my clients feel beautiful on the inside and out, I want them to feel Zen while in my care."
Kaylee
Kaylee is Ocean's 13s one and only Esthetician. Her dedication to her clients needs is unrivaled. She possess a skill that very few do. Kaylee is able to immediately put her clients at complete ease. I'm sure that is in part due to her sunny disposition, but more so because of her innate ability to instill confidence with every movement she makes. Kaylee's number one goal is to have every person that comes through her door, leave feeling regenerated, fresh, happy and most of all secure and confident in their own skin. Whether she is tending to someone's waxing needs, a relaxing and invigorating facial or a meticulous lash extension session, Kaylee always gives 120% of herself to every client!!
